Background: Colleen graduated from Trillium College in Kingston in 2018 and immediately relocated to Victoria, where she established Stromma Massage Therapy and commenced her practice in March 2019. Background

Mina graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in August of 2025 and has spent the winter working at a heliskiing lodge outside of Revelstoke. As a firm believer in the power of movement for both physical and mental health, Mina was drawn to a career as an RMT from an interest in all the mechanisms that enable us to move.

Treatment Style

Client centered care builds the foundation of her practice, recognizing the value of working with her clients to create tailored and adaptable treatment plans. During treatment, clients can expect a combination of active and passive modalities, used to intentionally increase mind-body awareness. Mina has a particular interest in the psychosomatic effects of massage therapy and looks forward to supporting her clients in their healing and self-care journey.

Personal

Kristen graduated from the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in 2013 and embarked on her journey as a Registered Massage Therapist shortly after relocating to Vancouver Island the following year. With 16 years of experience as a competitive swimmer representing Canada on the global stage, Kristen’s passion for sport performance, body awareness, and movement naturally led her to pursue a career in Massage Therapy.

Treatment Style:

Her philosophy revolves around empowering individuals to deepen their understanding of their bodies, fostering a sense of safety and joy in the body they live in. Beyond the clinic, Kristen’s pursuit of knowledge extends into the realms of dance and yoga, where she continues to explore body movement and holistic wellness practices.

In her Massage Therapy practice, Kristen demonstrates an interest in understanding and crafting unique treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs. Heather’s professional path in Massage Therapy began with her graduation from the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in 1992. Over the following two decades, her career took her to various locations, culminating in her registration with CMTBC as a Massage Therapist in 2011. Since then, Heather has been a dedicated practitioner in Kamloops for the past 13 years.

Treatment Style:

At the heart of Heather’s treatment philosophy lies a commitment to creating a safe and skillful care environment. Her approach integrates active listening and empathetic touch with practical remedial advice, supporting and nurturing her clients’ wellness. Heather’s personal practices in meditation and daily active lifestyle reflect and enhance her professional methods.

In her practice, Heather addresses the physical impacts of stress and pain, whether they stem from acute injuries, chronic conditions, or mental and emotional stressors. Sophie graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2024. Her journey in massage therapy stemmed from her love of helping people feel reconnected to their bodies. Being able to help someone rediscover their physical well-being and ease their discomfort is a powerful motivator for her. This work aligns with her personal values of compassion, mindfulness, healing and continuous learning.

Treatment Style

Sophie brings a strong background in dance to her practice, which informs her understanding of movement, recovery, and how the body adapts to stress and activity. She works collaboratively with clients, responding to their needs and developing treatment plans that align with their goals—whether that is reducing pain, improving mobility, supporting recovery, or creating a greater sense of ease in the body.

Her approach is attentive and adaptable, with a focus on helping clients feel supported throughout the treatment process. Sophie has a special interest in prenatal and postnatal care, and continues to develop her skills in this area.

Personal

Outside of her practice, Sophie has a strong connection to movement through dance and martial arts. Over the past few years, she has been competing in salsa internationally, with events in Europe, the United States, and Puerto Rico. This ongoing engagement with movement continues to inform her understanding of the body, recovery, and performance.

She also enjoys rock climbing, Aikido, and spending time in nature, including ocean swims whenever possible.
